This course provides you with the skills to be involved in the production, fabrication and repair or a wider range of light metal products and qualify as an engineering tradesperson specialising in light fabrication

Duration:

Delivery Location:

The course will be delivered in the workplace by ASG trainers.

ASG Entry Requirements:

Minimum age of 15 years

We require that you complete a Language, Literacy & Numeracy assessment in order that we can support you, where required, in achieving a successful course outcome.

PPE:

Determined by workplace requirements.

Tuition Fees:

This course is funded through the Queensland Government’s User Choice program. A student co-contribution fee may be required.

Assessment:

Assessment will take place at the end of each unit using the following assessment Methods:

  • Knowledge Test
  • Practical demonstration
  • Third Party Report

Certification:

On successful course completion Australian Skills Group will award the MEM31922 Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Sheetmetal Working), or a Statement of Attainment for units achieved in partial completion.
