HOW TO ENROL

Ready to Apply

The process is simple and we are here to help. All you have to do is follow the ‘4 steps’ below and your application will be immediately underway. One of our student services team will contact you with confirmation

4 Easy Steps for Enrolment

1.

Submit your Application

Complete the International Enrolment Form and return copies of the following;

  • Passport
  • Academic certificates / transcripts showing completion of Year 12 or above
  • English Language Test Results: IELTS 5.5 or above; TOEFL 46 points or above; CAE 162 points or above; PTE 42 points or above.
  • Statement of Purpose
  • CV/Work History, if applicable

Make sure your current name is added to any documents you supply with your former names (where applicable) and that you have certified translations for any documents that are not in English.

You should apply as early as possible to ensure that a place in your selected course is available to you.

 

2.

Receive your Letter of Offer

If successful, you will receive a Written Agreement and Letter of Offer. To accept the offer:

  • read the terms & conditions in the Written Agreement
  • acknowledge your acceptance of a place in the course & agreement to the terms and conditions by signing and returning to us the Written Agreement & Letter of Offer before the expiry date

3.

Pay your Fees

Before your Letter of Offer expires:

  • pay the tuition fees stated in the Written Agreement & Letter of Offer
  • methods of payment include International Bank Draft or deposit/electronic transfer
  • email a copy of the electronic receipt to international@asg.edu.au

Payment of the specified amount must be in Australian Dollars (AUD) – please note Australian Skills Group are not responsible for any associated bank fees & charges.

Once we have received your fees, we will email you a Confirmation of Enrolment.

4.

Confirmation of Enrolment (COE)

Once you have received your CoE you will be able to apply for your student visa.

Student Visas

You must not apply for a student visa before you have accepted your offer to study at ASG. Student visas can only be granted for study in courses that are registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

The Department of Home Affairs is responsible for issuing visas into the country. Student visas can only be granted for study in courses that are registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

How to apply for a student visa in Australia

Visit the Department of Home Affairs’ website to apply for a student visa. Visas are not granted automatically, and all requirements must be satisfied. You must have accepted your offer to study with us and paid your deposit before submitting an Australian student visa application.

Further to this, you will need the following:

  • A valid passport, 
  • your ASG Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE), 
  • and any other essential documents listed on The Department of Home Affairs Visa Checklist.

Visa terms and conditions

A number of conditions will apply to your student visa. If you fail to achieve those requirements, your visa may be revoked.

Please contact the Department of Home Affairs for details on visa requirements.

Please keep in mind that your visa will only be awarded for the courses specified on your ASG Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). You may need to modify your visa or visa details if you change or extend your course at ASG.
