The skills associated with this qualification are intended to apply to a wide range HVAC/R work, including assembling, installing, maintaining and repairing industrial, commercial and domestic air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment. This course will enable you to qualify as a Refrigeration Air-conditioning Tradesperson working across a variety of disciplines in the Construction, Engineering or Mining sector.

This course is funded through the Queensland Government’s User Choice program. A student co-contribution fee may be required. Please refer to student handbook.

The course will be delivered in the workplace by ASG trainers.

We require that you complete a Language, Literacy & Numeracy assessment in order that we can support you, where required, in achieving a successful course outcome.

Assessment will take place at the end of each unit using the following assessment Methods:
On successful course completion Australian Skills Group will award the MEM31322 Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or a Statement of Attainment for units achieved in partial completion.
