Advanced Trade (Refrigeration and Mechanical Fitting)

 This qualification provides the skills and knowledge required for employment as an engineering advance tradesperson within the metal, engineering, manufacturing and associated industries as a Refrigeration Technician, with a dual trade specialisation in Mechanical Fitting. 

Employment Opportunities: 

On successful course completion students will be dual trade qualified as a Mechanical Engineering Tradesperson, qualified to obtain 

employment as a Refrigeration Technician and or a Mechanical Fitter. 

Trained hvac technician holding a voltage meter, performing preventative maintenance on a air conditioning condenser unit.

Entry Requirements

Minimum age 18 years, Completion of Year 12 schooling,

IELTS proficiency at a minimum of 5.5


Assessment takes place at the end of each unit with a Knowledge Test and Practical Demonstration & throughout the course with a holistic

project due at the end of each semester
