Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology

The Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology is your gateway into an automotive trade.  Known as a pre-apprenticeship, this course will give you hands-on project experience to help you develop the wide-range of skills required for many Automotive trade jobs.

Tuition Fees:

This course is funded through the Queensland Government’s User Choice program. A student co-contribution fee may be required. Please refer to the student handbook.

Delivery Location:

The course will be delivered in the workplace by ASG trainers

ASG Entry Requirements:

Minimum age of 15 years

We require that you complete a Language, Literacy & Numeracy assessment in order that we can support you, where required, in achieving a successful course outcome.

PPE:

Determined by workplace requirements.

Assessment:

Assessment will take place at the end of each unit using the following assessment Methods:

  • Knowledge Test
  • Practical Demonstration
  • Third Party Report

Certification:

On successful course completion Australian Skills Group will award the AUR20520 Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology, or a Statement of Attainment for units achieved in partial completion.
