RIIMPO318F – Conduct civil construction skid steer loader operations

Course Description

This course is designed for individuals currently employed or seeking employment in operational roles within the mining and construction sectors who need to operate a skid steer loader. Students will gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills to properly operate a skid steer loader, including planning and preparing for operations, performing prestart checks, safely driving and operating the loader, managing materials, selecting and using attachments, preparing for relocation, and conducting housekeeping activities to ensure safety and proper documentation.

This comprehensive two day course includes both theory and practical components and can be completed at our Campus in Brendale.

Entry Requirements

Participant must be 18 years and above
Pass a language, literacy, and numeracy assessment (LLN)
All participants must possess the physical and mental capacity to work safely in the construction industry. It is mandatory for attendees to be physically fit, wear appropriate protective clothing, and have the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Outcomes

After verification of competency, you will receive:
