AUR31220 – Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology

Already working in the industry as a fixed and mobile plant mechanic? Turn your hands-on experience into a nationally recognized qualification through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). With the AUR31220 – Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology you can formalize your skills, boost your career, and open doors to more opportunities without the need to repeat what you already know!

This qualification covers a wide range of skills required for working on mobile plant vehicles, including maintenance, repair, diagnostics, and service tasks. You’ll learn the knowledge and practical skills needed to work in industries like mining, construction, and agriculture.

Packaging Rules: 

 

Total number of units = 36

9 core units, plus

27 elective units, of which:

  • all units in one of the Specialist Elective Groups A to C must be chosen
  • of the remaining units required to make up the unit total:
    • all may be from the Specialist Elective Groups and general elective units listed below
    • up to 6 may be from a Certificate II qualification or above in this Training Package or another endorsed Training Package or accredited course.

Elective units chosen must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the overall integrity of the AQF alignment, not duplicate the outcome of another unit chosen for the qualification, and contribute to a valid vocational outcome.

Qualification Mapping Information

Supersedes and is equivalent to AUR31216 Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.

The AUR31220 – Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology prepares new employees or recognises and develops existing workers performing mechanical work in the automotive heavy vehicle service and repair sector.
