Offered as a trade skills recognition option, MEM30219 Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting) recognises the knowledge and skills required to perform installation, repair, maintenance, overhaul and diagnostic tests on a range of plant, machinery and engineering components within an engineering mechanical environment.

The pathway selected by ASG contains 34 units of competency but this can be adjusted to meet individual learner needs, provided packaging rules are met. It is available as a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) pathway.


The MEM30219 Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting) qualification consists of 31 units of competency:
