Can Students enter Australia at this time?

Yes, the Australian government has declared that fully vaccinated international students with appropriate visas would be able to travel to and from Australia without the need to request for a travel exemption beginning December 15, 2021.

Will I have to go through quarantine
when I arrive in Queensland?

Fully vaccinated international tourists arriving in Queensland will no longer be needed to self-isolate or quarantine at home for
72 hours as of Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
You must, however, have a PCR test within 24 hours of arriving and isolate (at home or in any other private housing,
including hotels) until the test results are negative.
Between days five and seven after your arrival, you must undergo another PCR test, but you will not be required to
quarantine while awaiting the results of this test.

IMPORTANT: Before entering Australia, all students must produce proof of complete vaccination to ASG.

What COVID-19 vaccines will be recognised in Australia?

COVID-19 vaccines that have been approved or recognised by the TGA include:

Pfizer's Comirnaty; AstraZeneca's Vaxzevria; AstraZeneca's Covishield; Moderna's Spikevax; Takeda's (Moderna),
Coronavac (Sinovac) BBIBP-CorV (Sinopharm) Covaxin (under 60 years) Janssen-Cilag (Johnson & Johnson).

What can I do to get ready for my visit to Australia?

Students will need to be completely vaccinated with a TGA-approved or TGA-approved vaccine. Vaccination that is
recognised as well as documentation of vaccination status
