The AUR31120 Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology qualification is offered as an apprenticeship pathway and provides the skills & knowledge to overhaul, service and repair the mechanical parts of road transport vehicles such as the engine, transmission (clutch, gear box and differential) and the suspension systems (springs, steering, brakes, wheels and tyres). It also includes the repair and service of cooling systems, diesel fuel systems, air conditioning, engine forced induction systems and clutch assemblies, air braking systems and final drive assemblies.
