ASG Entry Requirements

Minimum age: 18 years

Academic suitability:

• Completion of Year 12 schooling or higher

• English proficiency at a minimum of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent

You also need to supply your own PPE – steel cap boots, long pants & high-viz shirt.

Qualification Entry Requirement:

Completion of AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent automotive mechanical Certificate III qualification

Qualification Pathway

Successfully complete AUR40820 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Overhauling within 26 weeks in order to continue to AUR50216 Diploma of Automotive Technology.

Certification

On successful completion you will be awarded the AQF AUR40820 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Overhauling, or a Statement of Attainment in recognition of units achieved in partial completion.

Assessment:

Assessment takes place at the end of each unit with a knowledge test and practical demonstration. There will also be approximately 3 hours per week self-study for assessment preparation in your own time.
