Electrical Apprenticeship Pathway

UEE22011 Certificate II in Electrotechnology 

Delivery and Duration

Face to Face on Campus

Every 5 weeks, Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 3.00pm

 

 

 

The UEE22011 Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start) is a work entry program providing grounding in safety and basic skills and knowledge for further work in any electrotechnology discipline.

Qualified electricians are currently in demand with the number of people employed in the industry growing very strongly over the past few years.

According to the Australian Government’s Job Outlook service there’s expected to be around 26,000 job openings for electricians in the next five years.

This course will give you the skills needed to safely undertake basic electrotechnology work and solve problems in extra-low voltage single-path and multiple-path DC circuits. You’ll learn about sustainable work practices and correct usage of materials, tools and
components for electrical work.

ASG also conduct General Safety Induction courses (White Card) – an industry requirement to work on Queensland construction sites, and some of the units needed for the first stage of an electrical apprenticeship.

Government Funding is availability under the Certificate 3 guaranteed program.
